Dealing with Conflict
Conflict is a normal part of life and a natural occurrence in interpersonal relationships. When conflict emerges in the workplace it has the potential of interfering with productivity and creating morale problems. Participants in this program will have an opportunity to examine the sources of conflict and the behavioral characteristics that intensify or prolong conflict. Because people have different ways of dealing with conflict situations, a group exercise will allow participants to experience the various styles of conflict management and resolution. Effective communication and listening skills will be discussed as well as tips for handling conflict.
Creating a Culture of Respect
A positive work environment enhances productivity, morale, and employee relations. In creating a positive workplace, much depends on employees being able to work well together. In this program participants will learn:

Anger is a normal emotion and if expressed clearly and in moderation it can be beneficial. But anger is also a strong emotion and if not expressed appropriately can negatively impact the workplace. This program will assist in developing an understanding of anger style, taking responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and learning techniques to manage anger, both your own and that of others.
